IntroductionĮclipse is an integrated development environment (IDE) which provides the platform for computer programming. The Eclipse Foundation - home to a global community, the Eclipse IDE, Jakarta EE and over 375 open source projects, including runtimes, tools and frameworks. It is critical that Java, Python, and Eclipse are either all 32 Bit or are all 64 Bit (and only if your Machine/OS supports 64 Bit). The version you should download is Eclipse IDE for Eclipse Committers.
